A kinetic typographic visual of a 60 second dialogue from the Academy Award winning movie, Room.
Below is the storyboard process of how one line of dialogue transitions to the next. The sans serif typeface projects the voice of Joy, the daughter who was taken captive at a young age. When used as small text or in all caps, the typeface embodied someone who was younger wrought with the internal conflict that threatened to explode when pushed too far. The serif typeface, on the other hand, embodied Joy’s mother and as someone who was older with frustration embedded in her voice.
